Director, Knowledge & Culture
Raj Supe, alias Rajbhashyak/Kinkar Vishwashreyananda, wears many hats ranging from a poet, storyteller, and novelist to a seeker and spiritual worker. The facets of an advertising man and a business strategist, though in recoil, are available to him. He is a staunch follower, nay an instrument of Sri Sitaramdas Omkarnath. An MBA, he had a career in advertising, research and creative consulting, working with clients ranging from UN to corporates like Rallis, Hindustan Levers, ITC, Nestle, Cadburys, Raymonds & Filmfare. He has co-authored a pioneering book on Organic Foods in India. His first novel Three No Trumps was published in August 98 [Coral Tree Publishers] and was among the Crossword Literary Prize, India finalists. His volume of poems Sagarika Anusagarika-Echoes for Nine Rivers [published by Minerva Press, Delhi and London], has been widely acclaimed. Among his valuable spiritual works are translations: Miraculous Circle of Devotees, an outstanding drama on the saints of Maharashtra and The Eternal Festival, a multi-faceted biography of Thakur Omkarnath and seven books in Streams of Nectar series. He has worked on films with the likes of Ram Gopal Verma and Ashutosh Gowariker and has helped conceptualize fifteen full-length plays by Makarand Deshpande (most of these were performed at Prithvi Theatre, Mumbai). He is the first translator of renowned icon among Marathi literature G.A. Kulkarni. A selection from this anthology Yonder Master was read in Poona. Raj Supe is intense and discreet about his work and tours in India and abroad with his Guru Vitthal Ramanuja.
